After successfully performing in more than 70 countries with his memorable interpretations of our favourite personalities, we finally got the opportunity to enjoy the new Ennio Marchetto show in Spain. This is a show in which just one man fills the stage in an incomparable way.
Inspired by the Disney cartoons he saw as a child, Pina Bausch’s modern choreography and the colourful, mercurial carnival of Venice, the city of his birth, Ennio Marchetto has revolutionised the world of impersonation with his fantastic interpretations of popular icons.
His extravagant costumes and masks, created using origami techniques, together with an amazing soundtrack and a masterful interpretation of popular personalities, have won him numerous international awards and transformed him into a global phenomenon.
Ennio has performed at the MTV Awards in Berlin with artists who today form part of his repertoire, including Prince, George Michael and Björk. He also shared the stage with the Spice Girls and Brian Adams at a BBC benefit concert and more recently in Oxfordshire with Elton John for the AIDS Foundation established by the singer.
Ennio impersonates more than 100 popular icons including:
The Mona Lisa, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe, Celine Dion, Kanye West, Dolly Parton, Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner, Elvis, Eminem, Freddie Mercury, Elton John and Beyonce Knowles.
