Sold Out has been commissioned by Legal Music to produce the Festival SOS 4.8 since its inception in 2008. The unique format of this festival lies in its mixture of music, contemporary art and debate over 48 hours.
On 6 and 7 May 2016 the ninth SOS 4.8 festival will be held imbued with the same innovative and authentic spirit it has possessed since day one, despite it becoming an internationally significant cultural event which has grown progressively in terms of the number of attendees and the range of performers included in its Music, Art and Voices sections.
The festival’s music shows are performed on the venue’s 3 now traditional stages. The Estrella Levante, JÄGERMEISTER and SOS Club by Rón Brugal stages simultaneously host the different indie, pop, rock and electronica acts comprising the Festival’s roster every year.
A set of workshops and round tables focussing on a single different theme each year is scheduled for the Voices section. They are all led by important national and international thinkers expert in their field.
The Art space allows each of a number of international artists to tackle the theme from an aesthetic and conceptual perspective, creating a very evocative exhibition atmosphere.
