After its opening last May in IFEMA Espacio 5.1, the exhibition that pays tribute to Pink Floyd, one of the bands that transformed the history of music forever, is extended until October 27.

The exhibition, which has generated great interest among Madrid residents, has also become an essential event for visitors from all over Spain and international tourists from all over the world interested in knowing the band in depth and taking an immersive journey in the extraordinary universe from Pink Floyd.

Spain has been the fourth country to host The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains, the critically acclaimed retrospective exhibition around the figure of Pink Floyd, its music and its impact on the art and culture of our time. After the enormous success of its debut at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2017, which received more than 400,000 visitors, the exhibition moved to Espacio 5.1 IFEMA in Madrid, managed by Sold Out. The exhibition has also aroused in our country an enormous interest receiving visitors from all over the peninsula. Therefore, its organizers have decided to extend it until October 27, allowing you to enjoy another month of the exhibition.

Espacio 5.1, which has already successfully hosted other shows such as ‘Harry Potter: The Exhibition’ and ‘Banksy: Genius or Vandal?’, is the perfect place to experience this immersive journey through the Pink Floyd universe, which includes audiovisual proposals with the most advanced technology, objects, surreal landscapes and cultural landmarks of our recent history that evolve throughout the exhibition. Tickets for these new dates are on sale at www.pinkfloydexhibition.es and through StubHub.

Developed under the thorough supervision of Nick Mason, who acts as an exhibition consultant for Pink Floyd, the exhibition includes more than 350 objects collected along the extraordinary trajectory of this training. It is an audiovisual journey through the more than five decades of experience of one of the most iconic groups of all time and an exceptional review of the very personal world of Pink Floyd, raised in collaboration with Stufish, leaders in entertainment architecture and historical stage designers of the British band.

The course of the exhibition, presented in chronological order, is enhanced at all times by the music and words of the present and past components of Pink Floyd: Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and David Gilmour, speaking about their experiences and their musical research through the intuitive Audio guide system, from the Sennheiser sound expert company. The trip culminates in the Performance Zone, where the public enters an immersive audiovisual space that recreates the great classics of Pink Floyd, as well as the latest performance by David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason at the Live 8, with a special remix of ‘Comfortably Numb’ that uses Sennheiser’s innovative AMBEO 3D sound technology.
